St. Regis Mohawk Sues IHS over Declination of Tribe Offer to Assume Sewage, Wastewater, and Sanitation Services
BY MATTHEW L.M. FLECTCHER / Turtle Talk Blog
The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe filed a lawsuit against the Indian Health Service (IHS) over the agency's refusal to accept the tribe's offer to take over sewage, wastewater, and sanitation services on their reservation.
