§ Exclusion - does not cover practice in state courts or under state laws. Likewise, your state law legal malpractice policy (if any) likely has an express or implied exclusion for law practice in Indian tribal courts. Only a written opinion from a carrier’s underwriting department can confirm whether you are covered for tribal law practice. Never assume.

We can provide policies from $5,000.00 to $100,000.00, with premiums as shown below:

If you need higher policy limits we can occasionally make exceptions. Policies with limits in excess of $50,000.00 are reinsured by one or more other insurance companies that specialize in accepting part of the risk from primary carriers like us. Ten percent discount for members of the Tribal Advocates National Bar Association (“TANBA”). Five percent discount for members of other professional tribal bar associations with CLE conferences of their own.
